We use the information described above to operate the app, provide the features you choose to use, respond to support and privacy requests, and maintain the app’s security and reliability. This includes saving your progress, generating personalized date ideas using AI, showing local event recommendations, and sending optional weekly reminders.

• Location: The app requests device location to find local events near you. This is optional and can be declined.
• Notifications: The app requests notification permission to show weekly date night reminders. This is optional.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.

The app uses local browser notifications for date night reminders. It does not send push notifications. You can turn off reminders in the Couple Profile page or in your browser or device notification settings.

• Base44: provides app hosting, authentication, database storage, and AI features.
• AI tools: when you generate date ideas, your inputs (vibe, location, interests, and budget) are sent to an AI service to produce suggestions.
• Sign-in providers (such as Google, if enabled): receive your email and name for authentication.

The app does not share your information with a partner or other users. Each user’s data is kept separate and private.

The app does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the app, its users, or others.

• Account details are kept until you delete your account.
• Browser-stored data is kept until you clear your browser data or use the in-app delete account feature.
• Past date records are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
• Support requests are kept as long as needed to respond and resolve the issue.

When you delete your account (Couple Profile → Delete Account), the app clears all locally stored data, deletes your past date records from the cloud database, and logs you out.

You can manage your data directly in the app:

• View and delete past dates on the Memories page.
• Remove saved favorites on the Saved page.
• Delete bucket list items on the Bucket List page.
• Delete your entire account from the Couple Profile page, which removes all local data and cloud records.

If you grant access to a device feature such as location or notifications, you can change that permission in your device or browser settings at any time.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

The app is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
